I have loved Trent Reznor for over a decade and he still amazes me after all this time. He just won an Oscar for what I think is the best score since ET. I'm super excited he won for Best Score for Social Network.
....I thought I should continue the blog by updating my life through photos. So here are some things I have been up to lately.
I recently helped with Latisha’s baby shower. I forgot my camera so I only got a few shots. It really was a wonderful day at the Hampton Inn in Bellevue. They have a great room for any type of party. We did a pink and brown theme to match her nursery. I made pink rose center pieces with powder pink ostrich feathers. Latisha is fixing to burst and I cant wait to meet little miss Ally.
I finished Brileigh’s first year panel. She is such a sweet pea and I always love hanging out with her. She is such a tiny thing with a BIG personality.
I had the wonderful pleasure of throwing my nephew, Devon, his 4th birthday party. He told his mom several months ago that he wanted to have a TN birthday party with all of his family. So they flew in last weekend and had his party on Sunday. I love him so much already…but when he came in after I had decorated, I could hear him whisper to Lana “Wow!”. I think he can melt my heart more than Lyell.
I made several other pennants and pom-poms that you cant see. I threw together what I call my quick Dearly Beloved menu : Fruits, cheese, veggies, spinach dip and ham & rolls. There are several things I wanted to do that I just ran out of time, but it was a nice rehearsal for when I have kiddos myself. I rented the linens & a skinny conference table that works really well in small spaces at Liberty Party.
