2nd Child Syndrome

So, this kid already has 2nd child syndrome. I haven't one post about my little buddy. So where shall I start? For everyone asking, our little guy was definitely a surprise. A great surprise don't get me wrong. We try so hard to get Elliott. Time, effort and money went into making us first time parents. Everything was calculated and down to the detail. Her conception, the pregnancy, my planning, her nursery, the delivery, nursing, learning it all. This time around, has been so relaxed. I am sure part of it is the fact I have done this before (and not too long ago).I don't even have much to complain about. In the beginning I would have to remind myself I was with child, so I wouldn't down my non-pregnant daily Diet Coke consumption. I will say my only negative thoughts were for Ellie. Will she be ok? Understand? Regress? She is still my baby and I don't want to take away anything from her childhood...We gave Elliott a playroom for her birthday...and found about I was pregnant three weeks later, Oh, wait! So, about that whole other room we just gave you....Opps. :)

How far along? 20 weeks, Half-way through
Maternity clothes? Yep...well kinda half and half
Sleep: Pretty normal.
Best moment: Trying to get Ellie to pat my stomach and say baby...she does it but has no clue. She pretty much pokes my bellie button, like OK, whatever mom.
Miss Anything? Not really.
Movement: Yes, it was much easier to feel him kick than with Ellie.
Food cravings: Nothing weird. I can eat the heck out of some Ruffles and French Onion dip and bottlecaps. What, yep bottlecaps are the way to my heart right now.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Coffee (but that is nothing new). Lyell now has a nice Keurig...so lets hope that doesn't end out in the back yard.
Gender: Boy!! My awesome cousin, Melanie, who is a ultra sound tech let of sneak a pick early. I had no clue leading up. Lyell and I were both leaning toward girl and the night before I had a dream it was a boy. I woke up that morning  turned to Lyell and stated its a boy. No hesitation at all. The ultrasound was almost confirmation just for Lyell. Call it mommy intuition.
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Heartburn. Really the only symptom I ever had. Well that and I kept falling asleep early in the night while watching Game of Thrones...Like, I don't think I made it though one whole episode...I still say its just the show.
Belly Button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Very happy...by the end of the day my back starts hurting when I'm trying to give Ellie a bath. This statement will get me in trouble...I know its only going to get worse.
Looking forward to:   I am also pretty pumped for a winter baby. AND, I can wear my prescription hose and not sweat to death...SEXY!
