Birthdays with a Sunburn

Should be a wordless post...because I don't have much to say that doesn't sound like I am complaining. Only 10 more days! I have to keep reminding myself that my stomach and swelling is not permanent. Its Lyell's Birthday weekend (I cant remember when he started getting a whole weekend, but he deserves it). His main present was a new Google chrome laptop which has not left his side since being delivered. Over all I think he had a pretty good couple of days. The Sullivan gang went out to eat with us Saturday night and came over for  cupcakes. I will have to say Bentley did pretty ok when the twins arrived. I wish I got a picture of AJ talking babbling at Bentley and my scaredy cat dog slowly backed away with a  look like "Oww crap, the little human can see me". Gale's birthday is Wednesday so tonight we celebrated both boys together over at Baker Road. I am trying to  take more images...getting ready to go snap happy once Apple arrives. So I might have gone over board the last two days...but pictures are always my favorite thing when looking at blogs anyway...I think I beached-whaled-it way too long in the pool this afternoon...I am a tad red!

Nearing the End

Or Nearing the beginning....

How far along? 37 Weeks

Stretch marks? Well... I have some purple dots??? I have a feeling within 3 weeks they will be full blown stretch marks :(

Sleep: I have slept on the couch twice this week if that is stating how I feel about sleep right now. I feel bad for my sweet Lyell having to hear me moan and groan all night. I have a few positions left that I can lay that does  not make my left leg fall asleep and my right hand go numb.

Best moment lately: I have had all my showers and received so many prizes. I cant even describe how people have gone above and beyond for Lyell and I. I have waited a very long time for Lyell and I to have a baby, its all starting to fall into place. Not baby related best moment is Lyell finished his first year of law school. He has done such a wonderful job and even got a B in his Torts class (which is the hardest class & everyone else in his group made Ds). I am proud of all of them all for passing and continuing on, but Lyell makes me such a proud wifey. He is the smartest person I know in my eyes.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Coffee. Its actually not a pregnancy sickness, its an overall hatred of the drink all together. As much as I don't want to admit this story...it is true and what Lyell is putting up with. Earlier this week, I had fallen asleep on the couch in the computer room. Around midnight, I woke needing to guess what..pee. So trying to maneuver around everything I knocked over a coffee cup Lyell had left on my new chair. Coffee went all over me, the chair and floor. So I had to run and get a towel and clean it up. Then enter in the gagging that took place to have cold nasty coffee all over me. I calmly went and peed, walked into the kitchen, unplugged his coffee maker, opened the back door, and chucked that thing as far as I could. It was very liberating at the moment. But in hindsight, I realize it does make me sound SUPER crazy. I have always hated coffee and can not even go into a starbucks...all this to say the coffee maker is still in the back yard and Lyell has been leaving in the morning early so he can get his coffee fix outside the house.

Name: No Name. We have narrowed it down to four but we are not deciding on a name till we meet our little girl. I am glad we are waiting and I am excited to see what our gut feeling brings us. I did make a name poll that I posted on facebook, twitter and sent out some emails. We mainly just wanted to see what others thought of our names. I am still nervous about our choices, so for all I know we will not use any of them. Here is the poll totals:

Gender: Girl

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? Off

Miss Anything? Not really, I miss just breathing. I have always been active and I just feel so out of shape and lazy.

Movement: She feels like she just snuggles up in my belly. She is very calm just like her daddy.

Food cravings: Cereal. I have had it for dinner every night this week.

Labor Signs: Nope. Some Braxton Hicks contractions during the day but nothing to write home about. I got checked for the first time this week and I have thinned a little, her heads low, but no dilation.

Symptoms: Overall uncomfortableness...mostly at night.

Happy or Moody most of the time: EXCITED.

Looking forward to: Finishing the nursery. I had some prints professionally framed and I finally decided on some curtains  I am purchasing last minute things this weekend. Next blog should be the finished product.

Random Side Items: I have played sports most of my life. I have always tried to exercise and run/walk. I have never NEVER NEVER had Athlete's Foot...until now. I am devastated and feel so gross. I think I got it from the hotel that we stayed at last week, which a very nice hotel but I guess even nice people can get athlete's foot. It started on Sunday and since then, I have tried every home remedy and the most expensive cream Walgreens offered. I just really REALLY hope I can get a pedicure before my baby comes so I can have cute feet when I am pushing :)

Showing off my spray tan lines for Laura's Wedding

Starting to get her closet organized

Lyell and I had a couples massage the week after the wedding and the day after Lyell's Big Exam. Thank you to all my FRWC girls for the gift card. It was exactly what both of us needed.

Little petit fours from my shower that the guys at work threw me.

Lyell is starting to put together all the beds, swings, rockers, ect.

The babushka (meaning grandmother in Russian) Pandora charm I gave my mom on Mother's Day.

37 weeks..3 weeks to go.
Bentley is still a little confused by everything.
He thinks all these new gadgets are for him.

Gale's Graduation

Gale graduated college on May 11th. Dad surprisingly let me get off work to join the festivities. So we grabbed a small bag, dropped Bentley off with Lyell's grandmother and headed to Knoxville. My doctor just said to be careful about driving too long, so Lyell would stop more often than none so I could stretch my legs. It was a nice 24 hour get away. One of my favorite things in the world is just driving in the car with Lyell listening to Opie and Anthony. I had never been to a collage graduation (no one had ever walked before) so I thought it was pretty neat. Of course, there was good eating and some good bezzerwizzer gaming mixed in all this.
